Dr Sonia Sahu

Dr Sonia studied and did her medical training in India. She continued her training in the United Kingdom for 3 years before migrating to Australia. Dr Sonia worked in Port Hedland and remote clinics in northwest WA prior to moving to Perth. She brings with her a broad range of medical expertise and experience.

Dr Sonia is passionate in her holistic approach to health – wanting to ensure patients are physically and mentally healthy. She believes in empowering her patients to understand and manage their health conditions.

All aspects of GP practice interest Dr Sonia but she does have a special interest in women and seniors’ health, mental health as well as chronic disease management. She however does not do workers’ compensation claims.

Dr Sonia is bilingual and speaks Hindi fluently. Outside of work, Dr Sonia enjoys reading, travelling, and trying different cuisines - she is a foodie.
